Oriam Scotland Website
Project Deliverables:
Details:
2016 saw a tipping point for web design, with more than 50% of browsing being done on a mobile screen, so as always the website had to be built to act responsively depending on the screen being used to access the site helping optimise the user experience for the site visitor.
Oriam Scotland leisure needed a wordpress website to showcase their facilities. The design needed to be a clean & modern website design that helped cement their branding online and was user friendly.
The website needed to be strong visually to showcase the facilities and easy to navigate but also offer everything a leisure and educational website needs to offer.
In our social media driven world, a strong presence is seen as important. With this in mind, Oriam wanted their social media and news feeds available right there on the homepage but wanted news and events clearly separated.
A login area for members to sign into and access their membership information would be added later. This would be accomplished by using an iframe to contail external content being loaded via an API.
The website is also supported electronically using html emails and social media advertising. In general this electronic marketing leads users back through to an area of the website where monthly offers and promotions are used to encourage membership. Users details are taken at this point to be stored for other marketing purposes.
The electronic marketing media is supported in turn in traditional ways through typical printed material, in the form of flyers, posters, vinyl and popup banners, bus shelter advertising, billboards and newspapers.
Video is also commissioned for Oriam to showcase the world class facilities available at their centres.
The above video was commissioned for a ‘Refer a Friend’ promotion being run by Oriam to encourage exercising with friends and making the experience more of a pass time than an ordeal.
